ADHD & Relationships/ Tips for Developing a Solid & Stronger Relationship

Relationships where one or both members of the couple have ADD/ADHD can be troubled by misunderstandings, frustrations, and resentments. This is especially likely if the symptoms of ADD / ADHD have never been properly diagnosed or treated. The good news is that you can turn these problems around. You can build a healthier, happier partnership by learning about the role ADHD plays in your relationship and how both of you can choose more positive and productive ways to respond to challenges and communicate with each other. This can go for any relationship that you may have with someone that has a mental disorder or some other conditions too to consider.

In the other parts to this video I also shared the following points for everyone to consider while in a relationship with someone who has ADHD and they are as follows:

*How ADD / ADHD can affect relationships.

*Symptoms of ADD/ADHD that can cause relationship problems.

*Putting yourself in your partner’s shoes with ADHD

*How each other feels

*Tips and examples: Taking responsibility for your role.

: Stop fighting and start communicating

: Work together as a team.

:Helping your partner with ADD/ADHD
